Patricia’s execution in design and video development have long been paramount in her consulting offerings in business to business venues, and is now made available direct to non-profit, organizations and individuals. She has a lifelong passion for history and the craft of story. For Patricia, Film fosters the platform to harness many of her multi-disciplinary passions funneled into one place, allowing her to design and produce multi-media storytelling expriences.

Originally born in Chattanooga Tn.,  Patricia spent many a summer running thru the foothills of WNC, attending Camp Flintlock in Tuxedo in the 60’s and 70’s.  It is here she discovered mountain folklore told by campfire, and the art of oral storytelling techniques as told by mentors Bill & Bootie Ross, directors of Flintlock Camps.  One Life, One Legacy® Films is a natural evolution of Patricia’s lifelong journey as an artist, designer and filmmaker. The daughter of an advertising director, Patricia was at home on a commercial shoot, or watching her father prepare Ad storyboards for national campaign pitches. His art supplies, photography and film equipment were always at the ready. “It’s been a part of my life, since day one.” At the age of eight Patricia asked for a tape recorder for her birthday, in order to record bird songs, and make personal audio observations and field notes in her sketchbook. In 1998 Patricia enrolled in the New York Film Academy for a grueling 7 day a week program to produce 3 shorts in traditional film production using Steenbeck editing machines. “It was wonderfully hard to manage my day job as a sr. toy design manager for Mattel, then literally jump a train from Long Island and run on foot to class in Manhattan for weeks on end. I loved it. I survived and have invested every moment since then thinking in multi-media”.

In 1999, Patricia returned to these NC mountains with her film crew to document and record many of the oral tales she had experienced as a child, as told by Bill Ross to 98 campers at the Green River Preserve.  It was of upmost importance to capture these tales as told from a master storyteller and mentor.  She’s so happy she did, as these tales represent a piece of the very best in ourselves and our history. Storytelling is to be enjoyed, shared and preserved.  Patricia holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, and is a graduate of The New York Film Academy.
